Dr. Ravi Agrawal is an Indian philanthropist, entrepreneur, investor and scholar. He is Chairman of the L7 Group of Companies, established in 1974, and Managing Trustee of the O.J. Agrawal Charitable Trust. Through the Trust he supports children’s schooling, eye care and hospitals, and food relief for families in need. Enterprise and service are treated here as one commitment rather than two.

Service has long been part of life in the Agrawal family. In 2015 Dr. Ravi Agrawal formed the O.J. Agrawal Charitable Trust to carry that responsibility forward in a more organised way. The work is for the everyday things no one should go without.

A hospital, under way. In May 2026 Dr. Ravi Agrawal and trustee Shri Hemang Tanna met Shri Prafulbhai Ganatra and the office bearers of Navratra Davakhana to discuss a new hospital and the services it could provide. Building is under way, with completion expected by the middle of 2027.

Schooling. In April 2026 the Trust began bearing the full cost of schooling, up to class 10, for children in Ladakh who lost their fathers in road accidents. Their fathers drove taxis, and where family income depends on a few months of tourism a year, school fees are usually the first thing to go. The Trust also provides scholarships for school students, and runs sewing centres in rural areas with machines, instructors and space for girls and young women to learn tailoring.

Health and community. Free eye examinations at the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel (Kachhi Visa) Maidan in Lakadganj, open to anyone who came. Equipment and machinery for hospitals, and help for people from rural areas to reach treatment they could not otherwise afford. Food distribution with Chattarpur Farms, Bandu Mehar Pardi, R Sandesh Foundation and Savariya Seva Parivar Trust. Drinking-water filters at railway stations, warm clothing in winter, and a vehicle named Vaikunth Rath given to an organisation providing funeral services free of charge. Masks and sanitiser supplied during COVID-19 to the Nagpur Municipal Corporation, Nagpur Police Urban and police stations across Wardha district. In February 2026 the Trust met part of the cost of a सामूहिक विवाह, a shared wedding ceremony organised by Bhavani Seva Samiti at Pardi, in which several families take part.

KATHA. DEVOTION.
SERVICE.

For Dr. Ravi Agrawal and the family, faith is shared through Katha, prayer and service. In December 2023 the O.J. Agrawal Parivar organised a seven-day Shrimad Bhagwat Katha with Pujya Bhaishri Rameshbhai Oza at Lakadganj. From 24 December 2025 to 1 January 2026 the family hosted a nine-day Shri Ram Katha with Jagadguru Swami Shri Rambhadracharya Ji Maharaj, in the presence of Acharya Ramchandra Das Ji Maharaj. He was present through the Jagadguru’s 77th birth anniversary in January 2026, when Swami Ramdev and Shri Kanhaiya Mittal Ji came to give their blessings.

Navratri at Chattarpur Farms is Surbhi, central India’s largest garba, and it is danced on the understanding that service is dharma. Every pass becomes a quiet act of giving, and what the nine nights raise goes to hospitals, relief funds, animal welfare and community kitchens: the National Cancer Institute, the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund, Go-Seva for cow welfare, Adarsh Jeevdaya Kendra, the Renovatio Foundation, Shri Maheshwari Yuvak Sangh for the public dispensary, and Deendayal Thali community meals run by Shri Salasar Seva Samiti.

The L7 Group is a diversified house with its roots in Nagpur, established in 1974 and headquartered in Mumbai.
